MARTIN LUTHER KING Jr.–BIRTHDAY–JAN. 15, 2024–

MARTIN LUTHER KING Jr.    NOBEL PEACE PRIZE WINNER

HATRED PARALYZES LIFE; love releases it. Hatred confuses life; love harmonizes it. Hatred darkens life; love illuminates it.

The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

NEVER , NEVER BE AFRAID TO DO WHAT’S RIGHT.

THE ABILITY TO LEAD A HAPPY LIFE IS MADE, NOT FOUND.

DON’T ALLOW ANYBODY TO MAKE YOU FEEL THAT YOU’RE NOBODY.

WE MAY have all come on different ships but we’re in the same boat now.

INJUSTICE ANYWHERE IS A THREAT TO JUSTICE EVERYWHERE.

BE THE PEACE YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD.

LIFE’S MOST PERSISTENT & QUESTION IS, “WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR OTHERS?

COURAGE IS THE POWER OF THE MIND TO OVERCOME FEAR.

LOVE is the most durable power in the world. This creative force is the most potent instrument available in mankind’s quest for peace and security.

LIKE AN UNCHECKED CANCER, hate corrodes the personality & eats away its vital unity. Hate destroys a man’s sense of values & his objectivity. It causes him to describe the beautiful as ugly & the ugly as beautiful & to confuse the true with the false & the false with the true.

IT’S NOT THE VIOLENCE of the few that scares me, it’s the silence of the many.

I HAVE DECIDED TO STICK WITH LOVE. Hate is too great a burden to bear.
