REALITY IS DEFINED THROUGH THE SCOPE OF HOW YOU PERCEIVE THE WORLD.   SONJA GRACE

DON’T THINK about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it’s good or bad, whether they love it to hate it. While they are deciding, make even more art.  ANDY WARHOL

COMEDY is an emotionally revolutionary form. COMEDY usually shows the triumph of the underdog — the young over the old, the poor over the rich.

EVERY TIME YOU THINK A LOVING THOUGHT YOU LITERALLY BLESS ALL REALMS OF CREATION.

I AM THANKFUL FOR IT ALL. THE HIGHS. THE LOWS. THE BLESSINGS. THE LESSONS. THE SETBACKS. THE GROWTH. FOR THE LIFE THAT I LIVE, I AM GRATEFUL.

COMING CLOSE TO DEATH YOU BEGIN TO KNOW WHAT LIFE MEANS & WHAT IT MEANS IS GRATITUDE.         ROGER SCRUTON  1944-2024

OUR OWN LIFE HAS TO BE OUR MESSAGE.  THICH NHAT HANH

                                 JANE HIRSHFIELD–POET–BIRTHDAY–:
ONE REASON to write a poem is to flush from the deep thickets of the self some thought, feeling, comprehension, question, music, you didn’t know was in you or in the world. Other forms of writing — scientific papers, political analysis , most journalism — attempt to capture & comprehend something known. Poetry is a release of something previously unknown into the visible. You write to invite that, to make of yourself a gathering of the unexpected and, with luck, of the unexpectable.            THE POET WHO ORCHESTRATES SILENCES.

MEHAR BABA 1894-1969. “Listen Humanity” “Infinite Itelligence””God Speaks”

THE FINDING OF GOD IS THE COMING TO ONE’S OWN SELF.

NO AMOUNT OF PRAYER OR MEDITATION CAN DO WHAT HELPING OTHERS CAN DO.

WHEN NOTHING UPSETS YOU, you are at the beginning of the path. When you desire nothing, you are halfway on the path; when nothing becomes everything, you are perfected.

CHOGYAM TRUNGPA 1939-1987. “CUTTING THROUGH SPIRITUAL MATERIALISM” “CRAZY WISDOM””DHARMA ART””Meditation in Action”.

WE ARE ALWAYS IN TRANSITION. If you can just relax with that, you’ll have no problem.

TO BE A SPIRITUAL WARRIOR, one must have a broken heart; without a broken heart & the sense of tenderness & vulnerability, your warrior ship is untrustworthy.

WE MUST BE WILLING to be completely ordinary people which means accepting ourselves as we are without trying to become greater, purer, more spiritual, more insightful. If we can accept our imperfections as they are, then we can use them as part of the path. But if we try to get rid of our imperfections, then they will be enemies, obstacle on the road to our ‘self-improvement’.

REAL FEARLESSNESS is the product of tenderness. It comes from letting the world tickle your heart, your raw & beautiful heart. you are willing to open up, without resistance or shyness & face the world. you are willing to share your heart with others.
